Cute story with hours of building fun!
First of all, no, you don’t have to have played the first game to enjoy this one. It is its own story that is set in the Dragon’s Quest universe.
Now for the review. Simply, this game will hold you for many hours so you can build your little villages and towns juuuuust right. The story does a great job of teaching you how to build in particular ways all the way up to the end and is a delight to play. My only complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be any story examples for the advanced tools to use in-game that may help me learn how to use them.
