As of January 1, 2022, earning Sony Rewards points at PlayStation™Store will be limited to Sony and PlayStation® Visa Credit Card purchases.

Members will continue to earn 1 point per dollar spent at PlayStation™Store with a  linked account through December 31, 2021.

 

1.       When will I stop earning Sony Rewards points for my PlayStation Store purchases?

Sony Rewards members with an account linked to PSN will stop earning points for PlayStation Store purchases as of 1/1/22, except for purchases on the PlayStation Store with the PlayStation Card (see FAQ No. 2). 

2.       Will I continue to earn 2x points if I’m subscribed to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now?

No. Double points earned on purchases at PlayStation Store for members subscribed to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now will also be discontinued as of January 1, 2022.

3.       Can I still earn 5x points on PS Store purchases with my PlayStation Credit Card?

Yes, you will still earn 5x points per $1 spent at PlayStation Store purchases with the PlayStation Card.

4.       When will my points expire?

You will now have 5 years from the end of the month in which your Sony Rewards points were earned to redeem them, as long as you remain an active Sony Rewards member within any 18-month period. To be deemed “active”, you must earn or redeem points through the Sony Rewards program. If you do not remain active throughout any 18-month period, all of your Sony Rewards points will expire at the end of that 18-month period. View complete Terms and Conditions. 

5.       Can I still redeem my Sony Rewards points in the catalog?         

Yes, you can still redeem your points in the Sony Rewards catalog for PlayStation games, store codes, electronics, movies, music, and gift cards.

6.       Will my Sony Rewards account stay linked to PSN?

Yes, existing linked accounts will remain linked in order to participate in future special offers with PlayStation.

7.       Are there other PlayStation benefits I can take advantage of in Sony Rewards?

Sony Rewards members can redeem points for PlayStation products, games and vouchers in the catalog, and PlayStation Card holders will receive 5x points for all PlayStation and Sony purchases. You can still access Sony Rewards for the latest on game content and promotions. We are continuing to partner with PlayStation on new exciting Rewards opportunities, so stay tuned!

8.       What are other ways I can earn points in Sony Rewards?

Members have several ways to earn points in the Sony Rewards program, linking their SR account to their Movies Anywhere account, uploading ticket stubs, and participating in Passes.
