You can earn points for doing the things you already do, like going to the movies or purchasing from the PlayStation™ Store. Then, redeem points for once-in-a-lifetime experiences, cool merchandise and more. Plus, you’ll always have access to exclusive sales, including Insider Specials, Deal of the Day and Deal of the Week.
There are so many new things to experience. From the overall look and feel of the mobile app to the many ways to earn and redeem points. Discover more ways to earn with Passes, where you’ll be challenged to complete a list of activities and earn rewards. Refer-a-friend, to share experiences. Access the catalog with ease and save with special sales. You can even tap into more excitement with the new Sony Rewards app. The easiest way to find out what’s new is to take a look around. When logging into or signing up for Sony Rewards you will be prompted with further information regarding Sony account and how to obtain one. Please follow the prompts and additional messaging for further instructions.

If you’re an existing Sony Rewards member with an account linked to PlayStation™ Network, but the email addresses for both accounts are different be sure to sign-in to Sony Rewards by using your existing Sony Rewards email address. You will be notified that you are linked to a Sony account for PlayStation™ Network with a different email address.

You will then be prompted to enter the email address of your Sony account for PlayStation™ Network. Then you will be prompted to enter the password you use to sign-in to PlayStation™Network. After a successful sign-in using your PlayStation™ Network credentials, these credentials will be used moving forward for your Sony account to access both Sony Rewards and the PlayStation™ Network.
You can join Sony Rewards by clicking on Join within the header of the website, or clicking on the icon in the top right corner within the Sony Rewards app — it's fast and easy to do. Just follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the enrollment process.
As long as you remain an active (as defined below) Sony Rewards member within any 18-month period, you will have 5 years from the end of the month in which your Sony Rewards points were earned to redeem them. All points expire 5 years after they are earned. You will be deemed ‘active’ if you (i) complete at least one earn activity by using your Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card (ii) earn Sony Rewards points through the Sony Rewards website/app, or (iii) complete a redemption activity. If you do not remain active within any 18-month period, all of your Sony Rewards points will expire at the end of that 18-month period. This applies to all Sony Rewards points earned and available in your account.
Sony Rewards membership is currently only open to legal United States residents who are 13 or older. Membership in and use of the program excludes Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions.
For the best Pass experience, be sure to download the Sony Rewards app. Then choose the Pass you want to complete. You’ll be given a list of actions. Once completed, you’ll have unlocked your reward. There are many to choose from, and every unique pass you collect, unlocks a new reward. Learn more about Passes by going to the Passes page under the Earn section of the website/mobile app or by visiting the Dashboard of your account.
Found in the My Account section on both the website/mobile app Refer-a-friend allows you to share the Sony Rewards experience with all of your friends. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the page and send an invite.
Found in your Dashboard, your Points Goal is the total amount of Sony Rewards points you want to reach. Points can then be used to redeem from the catalog, bid on ShowStoppers or applied toward items found in your Wish List.
It's easy. Go to the My Account section of the Sony Rewards website/mobile app, where you can update your profile info under the Personal Information section.

Note: If you are a cardmember any changes made to your Sony Rewards profile will not update your credit card statement information. To make changes to your personal information for your Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card account, please call the number on the back of your card.
Go the My Account section of the Sony Rewards website/mobile app. From there go to the Preferences section to make updates to your Communications Preferences.
To ensure you receive emails from Sony Rewards, please check your email settings to make sure members@members.sonyrewards.com is in your address book or on your Safe Sender's List.
After you log into the Sony Rewards website/mobile app, you can view your current points balance in the top right corner of the navigation, on the Homepage, on your Dashboard or when you go to Points Activity section under My Account.
Go to the My Account section of the Sony Rewards website/mobile app and click on Points Activity to get a complete picture of your point’s activity history including transactions and Orders.
No, you will only be able to link one account tied to PlayStation® to Sony Rewards. Additionally, you won’t be able to change your account tied to PlayStation® that is linked. Choose wisely and link the account tied to PlayStation® that you use most. If you have an account tied to PlayStation®, and you have not yet linked it to Sony Rewards, you will be prompted when you login/enroll. If you wish to link your account tied to PlayStation® at a later time visit the My Account page and click on Linked Accounts then follow the instructions for linking.
There are many ways to earn points — and most of them involve doing things you already love to do. Here are just a few:
• Use your Sony Visa® Credit Card — one of the best and fastest — ways to earn points. In addition to other benefits, cardmembers earn 1 point on all card purchases, plus 2X – 5X points on certain purchase categories when the Sony Visa® Credit Card is used. For additional information on your existing cardmember benefits, please visit https://comenity.net/sonyvisa or call customer service using the number on the back of your card.
• Use your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card — another great way to earn points. In addition to other benefits, PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card members earn 1 point on all card purchases, plus 3X – 5x points on certain purchase categories when the PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card is used. For additional information on your existing cardmember benefits, please visit https://comenity.net/playstationvisa or call customer service using the number on the back of your card.
• Registering select DVDs and Blu-ray discs™ via the Sony Rewards app by entering the unique code from your package insert.
• Uploading movie ticket stubs via the Sony Rewards app from select movies you watched in the theater.

*If you are a card member you'll automatically receive 1 point per dollar at Sony authorized retailers. To receive your additional 4 points per dollar, please fill out a Bonus Points Form found under the My Account section.
Yes, you can register up to 10 eligible Sony Pictures movies per month. At the first of the month your eligibility will reset, and you will be able to register another 10 eligible discs.
As a Sony Rewards member, you can earn points by uploading tickets from select Sony movies via the Sony Rewards app. Follow these easy steps to turn your movie tickets into points.
Step 1. Go to the Earn section within the Sony Rewards App and go to the Upload Movie Tickets section
Step 2. Click the ticket upload button
Step 3. Take a picture of your movie tickets within the app
Step 4: Review your image and click ‘Submit’ upon our review of your submission we will be sure to award you the proper amount of points.
If you’ve purchased your movie tickets online please follow all of the steps outlined above, but instead of providing pictures of your movie tickets, provide a picture of your receipt.
Ticket uploads are available for select Sony Pictures new releases for limited time (usually about 4 weeks after opening weekend.) Once a title expires, you will no longer be able to earn points. Check back for new titles if there aren’t any available for earning points right now.
You can register a product by downloading the Sony Rewards mobile app. Go to the My Account section and click on Registered products there you will be given further instructions. Once you register a Sony product, it will be stored in your Product Locker, which can be accessed here:

Registering is easy. Just use mobile app to enter the:
• Model Number
• Purchase Date
• Place of Purchase
If you have a Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Card, use the Bonus Point Form for an exclusive opportunity to earn more than one Sony Rewards point on certain eligible Sony purchases. In addition, you also have the option to redeem your bonus points for a statement credit.

With the Sony Rewards app, you can easily submit for bonus points and request a statement credit without the hassle of mailing your receipt!

Here's how it works for Sony Visa® Credit Card and PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card members:
1. Purchase Sony or PlayStation® items with your Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card at any authorized retailer. (sony.com/retailers)
2. Go to the “My Account” section
3. Select Bonus Points Form
4. Take a picture of your receipt
5. Complete your purchase information
6. Check the box for purchase credit, if you would like to receive a statement credit, too.
7. Click Submit

Additional bonus points for every dollar you spent will be added to your account once your request has been processed.

Simply link the account tied to PlayStation® to your Sony account to get started. You'll automatically earn at least one point per dollar for all of your PlayStation™ Store purchases. And keep an eye out for bonus offers.
Once you link your account for PlayStation® to Sony Rewards, you will earn 1x point per dollar for all of your PlayStation™ Store purchases. In addition, you will earn an extra 5x points for using your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card on PlayStation™ Store purchases for a total of 6x points! The additional 5x points will post to your Sony Rewards account when your card statement cycles. You’ll earn purchases for anything you buy with your PlayStation® Store Wallet. That includes PlayStation Plus subscriptions, games, videos and music, across all PlayStation® devices. You will also earn points for movie rentals or purchases made on PlayStation™ Store. Just be sure your accounts are linked by visiting the Linked Accounts section on the Sony Rewards website/mobile app.
You can earn Sony Rewards points for all of your PlayStation™Store purchases. Simply link your account tied to PlayStation® to your Sony account by going to the Linked Accounts section under My Account.
Unfortunately, no. You will only earn points on products that are bought directly from PlayStation™Store. But, if you buy PSN cash codes at retail locations and redeem them on PlayStation™Store, the purchases you make will be eligible for points.
You won’t earn points when you top up your wallet with a credit card or PSN cash codes. But you will earn points when you buy PlayStation Plus subscriptions, games, videos and music on PlayStation™Store.
You can use your Sony Rewards points for a wide range of Sony merchandise. Here's how:
• Browse the Sony Rewards catalog to check out what you can get, including music, movies, games and the latest tech.
• Take advantage of Deals & Steals for limited-time pricing on certain rewards.
• Check out ShowStoppers for exclusive Sony once-in-a-lifetime experiences and unique collectibles.
• You can also purchase additional points at checkout for a penny a point.
Cardmembers have access to exclusive items and better pricing than non-card members do — that's why it's important to link your Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card to Sony Rewards by going to My Account and clicking on Link Credit Cards.
Not having enough points for an item doesn't mean you have to wait to get it. All you need to do is purchase the rest of the points you need (at a penny a point) using your Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card or other credit card during the checkout process.

And remember, you can also purchase points to increase your bid on select ShowStoppers.
For some products, such as PlayStation® Digital Codes, you may need a certain amount of points in order to redeem the product. You will be made aware of any point minimums for a specific product once you have added it to your cart.
For some products, such as PlayStation® Digital Codes, once you purchase the product you will receive an email where you can access the code. You can also access your code by going to My Accounts and clicking on Points Activity under the Activity section.

Click on the activity called Reward, which will populate under the same date as the shipped date. There you will be able to find your code. Please allow up to 5 business days for your code to be available.
Found in the My Account section, Wish List is a great way to keep track of all the Sony movies, music, games, and products you want to redeem your points for. Once you add items to your Wish List, it will be easier for you to find out when those items go on sale.

Creating your Wish List is as simple as visiting a product catalog page and clicking on the Add to Wish List link. That's it!
Deals & Steals are special offers available exclusively to Sony Rewards members, including:
• Special offers or pricing, one-of-a-kind items, electronics, collectibles and more
• Deal of the Day – your chance to get a great deal on a new movie, electronics and other Sony items.
• Deal of the Week – a new deal goes live every Monday and is available to purchase for one week only or until the deal is sold out.
• Reverse Auction – score amazing savings on select Sony products every month in these fun auctions, where prices go down, not up.

Passes with PlayStation® challenges require the member to “unlock” the Pass in order to start the challenge; but, there is no limit to how many Passes can be unlocked at once – giving members an ability to collect rewards for multiple challenges! Sony Rewards members who have an account tied to the PlayStation® Network can collect rewards for doing the things they love and already do, like renting movies on PlayStation™Store and subscribing to PlayStation Network Services. Check back on your account, as new Passes can be added at any time. Passes are available for a limited time, and new PlayStation® passes will roll in and roll out to challenge you throughout the year! So get ready to play, and get rewarded!

It takes up to 5 business days for PlayStation® activities, such as renting movies and subscribing to PlayStation Network Services, to show up in applicable Passes.

You can complete 1 Trial Blazer pass.
After you’ve unlocked the Entertainment Trifecta pass, subscribe to at least 3 of the 4 following PlayStation Network Services: PlayStation Vue, Spotify® on PlayStation Music, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus.
Upon completion of this pass, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on file and you will see the points added to your Sony Rewards account. Please allow up to 5 business days for your points to display under your points activity.
If you cancel any of the applicable PlayStation Network Services prior to the 30-day grace period, you will not be awarded for that specific subscription. You will need to re-subscribe to that service and remain a member of that service for at least 30 days in order to be awarded. Once you have been subscribed to 3 out of 4 of the services for at least 30 days you will have completed the pass.

You can access your free movie code by logging into your Sony Rewards App and going to Passes section. Click on the completed Movie Buff pass to see your code.

If you have a Sony Visa® Credit Card or PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card, the Purchase Credit Form is an exclusive option that lets you receive a full or partial credit to your card account when you shop for Sony or PlayStation® products at any Sony authorized retailer.

Here's how it works:
Download the mobile app, and go to the My Account section
1. Take a picture of your receipt
2. Complete purchase information
3. Check the box “Purchase Credit Request”
4. Once your request is processed, we'll send you a confirmation email and credit your card account at a rate of $1.00 for every 115 Sony Rewards points deducted from your account. Your credit will post to your card account 5 days after your request is approved.
You can check the status of a bonus points form in the My Account section by checking your reference code. Please note, you will need to allow up to 5 business days to view the status of your submission.
Once your request is approved, we’ll send you a confirmation email. Please allow up to 5 business days for the credit to post to your card account and 1-2 billing cycles to post to your card statement.
Entertainment is defined as select purchases made at merchants that fall within the merchant category codes described below.

Record Stores are classified as merchants that sell records, compact discs (CDs), and cassettes. They may also rent video tapes.

Motion Picture (Movie) Theaters are classified as merchants that operate movie theaters and sell tickets as well as refreshments. This includes online ticketing merchants.

Continuing Subscription Services are classified as merchants that sell subscription products or services via “direct” mail. This includes book clubs, collectible series programs, and magazine/newspaper subscriptions that are delivered via direct mail.

Digital Goods – Large Digital Goods Merchants are large-volume merchants that sell digital goods delivered in electronic format, with a minimum of 25 million transactions annually.

Digital Goods – Games merchants sell games that are delivered in electronic (not physical) format. This excludes games of chance.

Digital Goods Media –Merchants classified within this MCC sell books, movies, or music in an electronic (not physical) format.

Sports – Includes merchants that operate and promote semiprofessional and professional athletic clubs (e.g., baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, etc.), promote amateur and professional athletic events, and manage individual athletes. Includes sports arenas and stadiums.

Theaters are classified as merchants that operate live theatrical productions such as road companies and summer theater groups. This also includes services associated with theatrical productions and concerts such as casting agencies, booking agencies, scenery, lighting, and other equipment services, and theatrical ticket agencies.

Bands, Orchestras & Entertainment are classified as merchants that provide entertainment other than theatrical productions. Includes musicians, bands, orchestras, and other types of entertainers such as comedians and magicians as well as DJs.

Video game amusement supply & arcade are classified as merchants that sell coin-operated amusement machines such as video game machines, juke boxes, pinball machines, slot machines, mechanical games, instant photograph booths, and similar types of amusement equipment and game supplies. Also includes video game arcades.

Does Comenity Bank assign merchant category codes? Merchants are assigned a merchant category code based on their primary line of business. Comenity Bank does not assign merchant category codes and is not responsible for merchant coding errors or inconsistencies.

To qualify for 50% off a PlayStation®Plus 12-month subscription as a statement credit, you must:

1. Ensure your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card account is linked to Sony Rewards.
2. Spend $3,000 on your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card within one year of the day your account was approved, and
3. Within 1 year of meeting the criteria above, use your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card as the method of payment for a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription from PlayStation™Store.
4. You must have an open PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card account in good standing at the time the statement credit is applied to your account

Once you’ve met the above criteria, Comenity Bank will automatically apply 50% of the amount paid for your subscription service as a statement credit, within 1-2 billing cycles. Please note that any applicable sales tax is not included in the discount calculation. Account credits do not count toward minimum monthly payment.

To qualify for 10% off PlayStation Now, and/or Spotify available on PlayStation™Music subscriptions as a statement credit, you must:

1. Ensure your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card account is linked to Sony Rewards.
2. Link your account with Sony Rewards to your account tied to PlayStation Network.
3. Use your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card as the method of payment for these services on PlayStation™Store and
4. Have an open PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card in good standing at the time the statement credit is applied to your account.

Once you’ve met the above criteria, Comenity Bank will automatically apply 10% of the amount paid for your subscription service as a statement credit, within 1-2 billing cycles. 2. Link your account tied to PlayStation Network to Sony Rewards. To complete above, log in to Sony Rewards. Go to My Account then Link Accounts. Follow the steps to begin linking process.
Retroactive credits are not available for previous purchases. If you are already a PlayStation Plus subscriber and spend $3,000 during the year, you can receive the 50% off as a statement credit on an additional 12-month membership, which will be stacked onto your existing membership, starting at the end of your current PlayStation Plus membership.
 
The annual spend timeframe starts on your anniversary date. For new PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card cardholders, that is the date your account is approved by Comenity Bank.

For existing PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card cardmembers switching to the new PlayStation® Card benefits, completed by Comenity Bank on 11/8/2019.
Yes, as long as your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card information is saved as a method of payment on your PlayStation Network Account and you meet all the eligibility criteria for the statement credit. Please see eligibility criteria.
- When you purchase a subscription service, such as PlayStation Plus, auto-renew is automatically selected.
- If you have auto-renewal and your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card information is saved as a method of payment on your account tied to PlayStation Network, your PlayStation® Visa® Credit Card will automatically be charged the PlayStation® subscription services price before the subscription period expires.
- You can cancel the automatic renewal feature by going to your settings/account information and select on “cancel auto renew”. PlayStation Plus benefits will still be accessible until end of paid subscription period.
Yes, an email will be sent to the email address associated with PlayStation™ Network to remind you that a subscription is to expire and will be auto renewed.
ShowStoppers are auctions through which Sony Rewards members can bid with and redeem their Sony Rewards points for exciting experiences and unique collectibles only Sony can offer.

Any Sony Rewards member with a valid account and email address can participate.
You can bid by going to the ShowStopper details page for the individual auction you want to bid on and click on Bid Now. You will then be able to enter your maximum bid, which is the highest price in points you are willing to pay for the ShowStopper. Your bid is not final until you go through the checkout process to fully place your bid. Once you do so, you will be returned to the ShowStoppers detail page, where you will see your bid placed.
When you place a bid, your points are placed on hold for the entire amount of your maximum bid until your bid is beaten by another member or you win the auction. Points on hold cannot be used to bid on other auctions, to redeem for items, or for any other purpose. If your bid is surpassed, the points are released from hold. When you win a ShowStopper, the points are immediately deducted from your account.
Bidding rules are found on the ShowStoppers detail page for each specific auction. The general rules are as follows:
Minimum bid: There will be a minimum bid for each auction, which is the lowest bid you are allowed to make. This is a set value at the start of the auction and goes up as competing bids are placed. In the bidding box, you'll see the text "Enter (some amount) or more." This amount is the current minimum bid, so you must enter at least this amount to bid.
Bid Increment: After the first bid is placed, in order to beat it, you must bid a certain amount of points more than the leading bid. That amount is the bid increment.
Cash and Points: You may bid more than your points balance by purchasing additional points with your credit card. The amount of money you can use to supplement your bid is limited based on the amount of points you're bidding (there's a set ratio of points to cash for each auction).
Yes. For each auction, there will be a minimum number of points required, but the rest of your bid can be purchased using a valid credit card at a penny per point. The amount purchased with your card will be placed on hold for the portion of the maximum number of points you are buying, while you are the leading bidder. It will not be charged until you win the ShowStopper. The hold will be released if your maximum bid is surpassed by another bidder. Points are always used first, so you will not have the option to pay with a credit card unless your maximum bid is higher than your points balance.
In some cases, members will have the opportunity to purchase a ShowStopper by paying the Buy Now price. By using this option, the member is considered a winner of the ShowStopper. If there is only a single winner for the ShowStopper (or if the last item of a multi-award auction is purchased), the ShowStopper is over.
In some instances, there may be more than one winner for a ShowStopper. This will be indicated on the individual ShowStoppers detail page, and the top bidders (up to the number of ShowStoppers available) will all win the auction. Each winner will pay the number of points that put them in a position to be a winner of the ShowStopper.
You can check if your bid has been placed by going to the ShowStopper Details page for the specific auction you bid on.
Unfortunately, no. A bid cannot be cancelled after it is placed. A bid is not considered placed unless it shows up on the Bid Confirmation page, which is also the ShowStopper Details page for the individual ShowStopper.
You can bid on multiple ShowStoppers as long as you have enough available points. When you place a bid on a ShowStopper, your points will be placed on hold and cannot be used to bid on another ShowStopper. In a multiple award ShowStopper, you cannot bid more than once simultaneously. If your maximum bid is surpassed, and you are no longer a leading bidder, you can bid again.
Certain ShowStoppers may be exclusively available to card members. In some instances, card members may also have a lower Buy Now price.
You will be notified by email when you win a ShowStopper. You can also return to the ShowStopper Detail page for the specific ShowStoppers to see if you won.
You will receive a notification email if you are outbid.
Purchases made through ShowStoppers are final and non-refundable unless indicated within the ShowStopper rules.
ShowStoppers will be shipped to the address you provide when you bid. If there are special fulfillment instructions, these will be provided to you by email.
When you win a ShowStopper, you'll have the opportunity to share your story with pictures and videos from your ShowStoppers experience with other members. You can view the Winners Circle by going to the Ultimate Rewards section of the Sony Rewards website and clicking on Winners Circle.
Standard Shipping is included for most catalog items; however, it's generally not included for Deals & Steals items and select PlayStation® items. Certain exceptions apply.

For some products, such as PlayStation® Digital Codes, once you purchase the product you will receive an email where you can access the code. You can also access your code by going to My Accounts and clicking on Points Activity under the Activity section.

Click on the activity called Reward, which will populate under the same date as the shipped date. There you will be able to find your code. Please allow up to 5 business days for your code to be available.
As part of the upgrades to the Sony Rewards website, and Mobile App we are implementing a single-sign on system, which means that you’ll only need one login to access various Sony sites, such as Sony Rewards or PlayStation™Network. This will eliminate the need to remember multiple login IDs. However, there are some problems that we continue to work through for existing logins. If you are having issues signing in, please contact Customer Care.
We are currently working through some issues processing PlayStation™Store records. We put a fix into place and your Sony Rewards account should reflect any purchases made between November 2018 and November 21, 2019. However, there is some additional work that needs to be done, so any recent or future PlayStation™Store purchases may not be posted to your account within the usual timeframe of 5 business days. But don’t worry. Your points haven’t disappeared. We will let you know when a permanent fix is in place, and if you feel that your points balance is still not displaying correctly, please contact our Customer Care team.
Don’t worry! Your points have not disappeared. There are some ongoing issues with PlayStation® Pass points being reflected on Sony Rewards member accounts. We put a fix into place and your Sony Rewards account should reflect all PlayStation® Pass activity that occurred between November 2018 and November 21, 2019. However, there is still a delay in future Pass activity points posting to your account. We will let you know when this issue has been fully resolved, and if your points balance is still not displaying correctly, please contact our Customer Care team. If you feel that your Sony Rewards points balance is incorrect, or your points-related issue is not addressed above, contact our Customer Care team. Please note that you may need to provide details regarding your transactions, including the specific date and how you earned the points that are not appearing in your balance on the site.
